Im off to Bangkok today, have had to be pretty stringent with packing. Am proud of myself but will possibly look like a hobo whilst travelling! Am planning to update this relatively regularly, but we'll see. I am going to Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macau, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, so Bon Voyage to me! xx

And yes, Bath was lovely - all pigs, cream tea and quaintness (although we did see a few crackhead types emerge on sat night)

Currently listening to Passion Pit non stop, they are amazing!

Life update:

Ratatat were pretty epic, but it was too busy for my liking. That Fete thing at the V&A was a dollop of good clean fun particuarly the dress ing up, ooh & I also saw Batman. Enjoyed it a lot, but I suppose as with most actiony comicy movies, some bits just don't make logical sense!

Also was very happy to get some free drinks and chicken at Cargo for their annual Yard Party last Tuesday. Heartbreak played, but the crowd were not as excitable as they could have been.

Am off to Bath this weekend for some British adventures. Hoping for some good Polaroid opportunities, before it retires for a few months.

After discovering these badboys (Bebaroque tights), I remembered the half fetish- half snuggles site I used to visit: Sock Dreams

There are so many delightful pairs on here, that I'd like to go crazy but feel perhaps I should wait till I have more money...

I finally got some money through from the Job Centre. £137 for 3 weeks of dole life! Because apparently they tax you even if you are only getting £47.95 a week!

I might buy myself some shoes, an essential for the unemployed!

Monday 21 July 2008

I thought I would start a blog for a few reasons, one to pass the time in me unemployment, and maybe someone cares what I have to say. I think it will include music, travel, fashion and some art I like depending on how much effort I choose to put in.

For instance, one thing that looks great is this weeks Late Friday at the V&A: Village Fete goes pop

Wow i just spent 10 minutes working out how to take off the underlining from this passage. Blogging is tough!

Other things to do this week: Ratatat at Cargo on 23rd - 'Classics' was an immense album, so I'm very excited, although not as much as I am about seeing The Dark Knight
